Tall Tree Shadows

A lovely sunny day today - a bit of frost in sheltered spots first thing, but the sun was pleasantly warm.

Walking through the woods this was the view across the beck..the sun casting great long shadows from the row of trees along the hill top. The remnants of the frost can be seen on the grass to the right.

Not easy exposing with shooting directly into the sun..it is completely blown out in the centre and I had to remove some of the more obvious lens flares in Lightroom!

My walk today was 3.5 miles - which brings my total for the year to just over 100 miles..only 1100 to go to complete the challenge now!
