Ullswater

A day off renovations today, no time for a lay in though, I had ideas of going to Pooley Bridge and getting a shot of the Duke of Portland's boathouse at sunrise.
I hung around for a while through official sunrise and then came back about an hour later to see the sun rising above the hills in the south east to cast some light on the boathouse. After all that, the shots were underwhelming, I hope to return when the sky has more drama or there is some fog. 
Further around the lake towards Glenridding I saw the sun casting light onto the hills at the southern end of the lake and these trees leaning in to the view. I noted the lower tree had what looked like a laurel growing out of the top of the trunk.
