Out on the water
It was a beautifully still and sunny morning so I persuaded JJ to go up to Harrold country park for a walk.
The river was well over the fields as we approached Harrold and the road was just beginning to flood but the car park was surprisingly quiet and there weren't a huge amount of people out walking.
We saw a few black headed gulls, tufted ducks, cormorants and grebes and a few others I'm not familiar with, although if they'd been closer to the shore I might have been able to identify them. This is a female Goosander.
We stopped in the cafe for a bacon buttie each and tea and coffee, and that has sustained me though most of the afternoon. I have just had two cubes of Bournville and that should last me through to dinner.
Last night's camera club speaker was a bit different. Linda Bembridge, if you want to check her out. She specialises in Abstract photography, which is then heavily worked on using Procreate or Snapseed. She must spend hundreds of pounds on paper, acetates, gold leaf and inks. It was certainly food for thought.
Apologies but I am way behind with commenting.
