Across The Pond

Had an impromptu dinner with my friend the Birthday Girl from last week. 
She took me to the local swimming pool first which was absolutely wonderful on this terribly 39c hot day!  We lazed around in the pool for about an hour in the shade and it was so relaxing and soothing! ; )
Then back to her place and she cooked dinner and we have spent the evening catching up on all the years we missed of each other’s lives. 
She has a lovely pond with this beautiful statue, made a nice mono for the challenge!
