Burradoo Journal

Yarramalong

We had a lovely green and misty drive to Yarramalong, a tiny township originally developed around cedar getting and citrus growing. This is the little library outside the School of Arts.

Little libraries, or Street libraries, are book boxes placed in public places so that anyone who wants to can borrow, exchange or donate a book. As the street library website charmingly puts it, 'They are a symbol of trust and hope - a tiny vestibule of literary happiness'.
