Storm

A day that began with the first confirmed sightings I have had at Oakdale of Musk Lorikeets - about 8 on the birdbath!! I’ve seen them elsewhere and thought I saw them here last year but I was very sure today. No photo as I grabbed the binoculars instead.
This afternoon soon after I got home from work, a fierce storm cell came through. It pulled down the arch of the bougainvillea vine which I’m sure we’ll be able to repair. There are also large branches down off trees in the paddocks surrounding the house. We shall see what other damage there is in the morning. I have a later start at work tomorrow so should have time to move any trees off the road if they’re not too big.
