Snowing?

Wasn’t’ supposed to be that flash up at Porters today. But Metservice, as usual, got the weather very wrong.

There‘s a good reason for that. They are reporting at the divide and the forecast stretches form Arthurs down to Mt Cook.

Absolutely hopeless, simply don’t believe their mountain forecasts. Adam here is seeking clouds, where he says ;-)

I did my usual, drop Adam off to his 9am lesson, in the cafe until 10.30 doing some work, out to meet Adam for a ski, lunch, drop him off at his 12.30 lesson, back to the café for some more work, pick him up at 2, ski for a couple of runs, then home. Works well ;-)

Then home. Which was interesting. On the way out the car had been shuddering, had its 1500km service and something wasn’t right. To cut a long story short, they cleaned the car, which had a lot of mud on it, but only blasted one side of thee inside rims, meaning the wheels were out of balance. So yes, in a ski area, under the car, scraping mud and dust off. Pleasant … Not.
