A big surprise

Our decorators had a big surprise this morning. ( see extra)  Warning- not for those of a nervous or squeamish disposition.

 Yes shocking isn’t it. 

They found these two carcases under our bed- the decapitated head of a baby rabbit and a dehydrated mole. 

How long they had been there we don’t know. Certainly, our present cat, Leo would not have brought them in. He rarely hunts. Anyway, he is far too big to squeeze under the bed.

The culprit must have been Taz, a notorious hunter, but he has been dead for at least four years. He had feral blood in him- the reason he ended up in Cat Rescue .
