Between the Showers

Another mixed day, weather-wise. The sun appeared briefly at lunchtime so I thought I'd give my manual macro lens an outing and chose a mix of moss and lichen on Viburnum as the thick branches of the mature shrub looked firm and solid, not likely to be shaken by the wind. The branches were, of course, swaying gently, so this single shot focussed on the yellow leafy lichen and surrounding moss was taken at a relatively wide aperture, highish ISO setting, triggered with a remote when I sensed it seemed fairly still.
