The hills are alive ...
I paid a quick and somewhat damp visit to the garden centre this morning in search of some winter pansies to brighten up the urn in the centre of the rose garden, and also for one or two tubs on the patio. I also bought a couple of white hellebores which caught my eye. On my return, after a welcome coffee with Smithers, I took a bootful of stuff to the charity shop.
Neither outing afforded anything blipworthy, so here’s another little doll’s cardigan which I’ve just finished. It’s not very original – I’ve blipped these before – but I love this little pattern and it’s very useful for using up small amounts of yarn. The cardigan is sitting on a tablecloth which was a gift from a family friend in Basel, Switzerland. She was my au pair when I was about three, would you believe, and we were still in touch until she died a couple of years ago.
