GTE Conference - Day 1

Well... a long and varied day. Drove to Ely early and taught a couple of lessons and did break duty then down for the train to London... lunch at Waterloo then on to Twickenham and checked in for the GTE Conference. I arrived at the same time as Margaret Roberts. Said hello to various friends and had two sessions of the conference. Walked over to Teddington and had beers and nice food (eventually) and then walked back to Twickenham to check in to my hotel. Nice room, right at the top of the hotel. The lights were Twickenham where they had been a rugby match. A pint of 'Naked Ladies' and catching up with the Traitors final.
