All the same... and still Fab.

Ah... can you work out the year of my birth? lol. Charlie and Rory sent me this card and it made me smile too widely not to use it for Blip. It's not as tiny as it might be, but it's "all the same" nonetheless, so the tag goes on.

Because of the continuing (almost finished but not quite) building work, we're not ready for a big party, but it was lovely to trade tasting notes with my neighbour Steve and his wife, while we worked our way through several small glasses and a gorgeous chocolate and blackcurrant creme cake, made and indeed demolished on the same day...!

Ardbeg Ten. Lagavulin 16yo and Penderyn Rich Oak. The Lagavulin really aced it in terms of complexity, while the Ardbeg surprisingly failed to amaze against the competition. Perhaps the Prosecco impacted it...

At least some of the Chardonnay lived to tell the tale. Not sure if I will. ;-)
