The Old Bridge

We were up early due to jet-lag but good in that we had to take granddaughter Amelia to school by 9am, a thrirty five minute drive.

Midday, we travelled to Hereford as I had a couple of things to do there, and Mrs BB was happy for me to take the longer route home as she read her book. There's a lot of flooding in Herefordshire, and it's nowhere near as bad as it can get.

It was up as we approached The Old Bridge (1352AD) from Hampton Bishop, at Mordiford, over the River Lugg. I stopped and took the photo' (in Black and White being a wet overcast day) It shows the river looking to Holyrood Church (Mordiford).

We are off out early eveing for an hour with bell ringing pratcice. With the rain and wind we'd both rather stay in the warm!
