On the rocks

A rather cool & very blustery day thanks to Storm Herminia moving in!

We decided to brave a walk as it was dry & there was a bit of sunshine now & then!

Didn't see much .... I think all the little birds had hunkered down out of the wind.

We climbed onto the riverbank & spotted this pair of Mallard resting on the rocks ...... hope the downward perspective is good enough .... thanks Laurie for hosting this month :-)
