Two ponies by Crummock Water

We came across two lovely ponies on our 4 mile walk by Crummock Water this morning. ( I could only get one of them in the photo + the view ).

It was good to get sunshine and no wind, too!

We stopped at The Kirkstile for welcome  refreshments ( cappuccinos + cheese scones ). A pint of Loweswater Gold would have gone down well, but I don't drink and drive.
