Mini Gig regatta followed by breakfast at Tish's

The Burnham Gig races were cancelled as the afternoon weather was foul, so we had a morning impromptu mini regatta in Maldon.  From my perspective,  just as good. More rowing, and less waiting around. Unfortunately,  we got stuck in the mud, but soon recovered to power the course. Claire and I discovered that we are better off with me in 3 and her in 4. All good learning experience. 

Extra is RSPB Birdwatch. It poored with rain after my hour of birdspotting - delighted that we had a flock of long-tailed tits and a song thrush visit whichi could include in the count. .
