Foot Plate...

 I used to make my own clothes in my teens and throughout my university days. I've dabbled over the decades but nothing too major.

So I thought I'd reignite my interest now I have my own "office" space. It is currently used to house my camera equipment, but I'm sure I can make space for sewing paraphernalia too....

Anyway, I found a place which teaches all sorts of sewing skills just 15 minutes away from home - The Lorna Knight Sewing Academy. I've started slowly with a basic getting to know your machine workshop today. I haven't forgotten everything, and my machine of over 30 years is still in good working order. I had fun and have signed my self up for one learning about overlockers. I've had one for years but never taken it out of its box!
