Lost across the street.

Mom and I have been taking walks in the road since I've been visiting, but today we thought we would wander into the woods across the street. Having lived here since 1976 this is territory that has changed. .. some clearing and developing, but today it was just a place where we had never explored. Had it not been for my amazing new phone we might still be looking for a way out! Here are my shoes. Dirty, wet and covered in sticky wild burrs. They better be ready. We are taking the kids on the adventure tomorrow!
