It got to around 40C today.  A day for indoors with the aircon.  Maggy and I did the hospital visit.   I make sure she gets a short toilet walk outside before we go in to avoid accidents but can you tell me why she always find something to roll in.  I had to use hand sanitiser and a mask to clean her up before I let her step inside the door and fortunately, because I yelled at her she hadn't managed to coat herself in too much muck.  Sigh.  I really shake my head at her.  There must be possums in the hospital trees that leave their calling cards beneath them which she finds irresistible .

At 6 pm the Southerly arrived.  Hooray.  All doors and windows are wide open and I am loving the cool breeze.  It's dropped more than 10C in temperature.  There are thick clouds overhead and they are grumbling and rumbling.   No rain yet and despite the rumbling, I haven't seen any lighting.   If something develops, you know where I will be.
