Pre-op

Well here I am. All set for some cardiac surgery tomorrow. I’m having my mitral valve repaired.
Admission was 11:30 am and I’ve seen Drs, nurses, physio, had blood taken, X-ray & ECG.
I thought it was going to be a lazy day to recover from all the work getting organised to come in (reminded me of preparing for an overseas trip but less fun).
So I’m looking forward to an early night (not hard after dinner 3 hours earlier than I’m accustomed to) which I’ll need as they’ll be waking me up 3 hours early too.
Obviously I won’t be blipping for a while but I expect isbiJG will post the odd progress report.
