Dig This
The dredger, Wyre Sands, is still hard at it. Continually removing silt from Kirkcaldy Harbour as long as the tides allow access.
Here it is, viewed through my kitchen window and over the High Street buildings, as it returns after unloading its silt further out in the Forth.
I have once again been forced to blip an image taken from home. Two reasons: firstly the weather has been interrupting with rain showers, but also, I have spent a lot of time on the laptop choosing images to enter in the next club competition. I usually try to enter something that pleases me and something more traditional that is more likely to please the judge. I have settled on a nature print of a redshank wader (for the judge) and one of my textured overlay images (for mysef). I have yet to make a final choice for the projected image section.
In the last comp, I risked entering two prints that both had texture combinations. Out of an entry of 21, one came 18th but fortunately the other came third!
