Bull Can ice boarding

We thought the recent cold spell should have sent some ducks south. Our creek has been completely frozen so we decided to check other places. We found a large raft of canvasbacks at Hallowing Point Park in Calvert county. This can was standing on a small piece of ice and floating up stream quite quickly. The tide was rolling in. It has been many years since I've seen so many canvasbacks. A fine sight to see. The extras show ducks in a row and resting ducks.
