It's Mono Monday!

This morning we took Violet to school after which I had to pick up Mr MC who took his car (one of them) to the garage for an MOT.  A quick cup of tea and then I was off to see the lovely B for my routine pedi and gel nails.  When I went in, it was sunny and the wind had dropped.  Not so when I came out!
On arriving home I manage to photograph the xylophone pieces that we got in last years Christmas Crackers and turn my chosen image to mono.  It just about follows this week's theme of 'perspective'.

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day and it marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.  We watched a number of programmes which marked the day and at 8pm we lit a candle in remembrance of those victims of the Holocaust and all subsequent genocides
