Sheltering

The weather has been wild today. We had a wind swept rain storm at 9am which thankfully cleared in time for Merlin and I to have 90 minutes to walk in the dry and even with some sunshine. By lunchtime the weather had closed in again and we had a violent hail storm accompanied by thunder and lightning. The wind lashed the hail against the windows so hard I feared they would break. Thankfully the hail cleared fairly quickly but I imagine it would have been a painful experience to have been outside as it was falling.

Thanks for your good wishes for Andy. His face is very swollen and sore but I understand this is to be expected at this stage.
