Malaga

Never been here before. Came in search of some warm sun.

Flight took off around 10 mins late at 8:20. A very quick through security it’s much better not having to take toiletries out of bags now.

Never flown with Jet 2 before but they had decent flight times and quite cheap flight only deal so here we are.

Was sitting next to two lawyers and had a good chat with Linda about a variety of subjects. In many ways she was like a kindred spirit!

The landing…. I’ve heard people say that Ryanair is notorious for big thuds on landing. Well this one was 10 times worse. We were a bit shaky on final approach and then landed on the left wheel then the right with an almighty thud and then skewed a bit. People at the front screamed! Then the brakes were screaming!

It was extremely quiet in Malaga airport was through passport control very quick but the border control gave me a stamp on top of another fainter one ‘. Grrrrr

Bus to the centre, room wasn’t ready so we went for food which was excellent.

Came back got our key and we are on the 7th floor with a nice sitting out bit.

Walked quite a bit which was daft as my broken toe is not happy. It’s four weeks now and I thought it was getting better but I think too much walking today and it’s sore.

Our hotel has a rooftop bar and pool and great views over to the Cathedral in the old town.
