New pole

We are finally back with power! The problem was a snapped pole down in the donkey field. Unfortunately it was up a steep slippery slope, and the repair team had to wait for a suitable vehicle to arrive, that could actually get up there.
Around teatime we gave up hope, and went to The Watermill for a meal. However we had an update while there, that power was restored. When we arrived home of course there were lights on all over the place! Which was good to see.  We got the heating going and all is well!
It does make you realise how much we rely on electricity, and how much more comfortable it is to have it!
