Blackton Reservoir County Durham

There was snow on the Pennines as I travelled over through Teesdale to see Chris. It rained on and off but it wasn’t torrential.
It was fabulous to catch up.
We had a trip up to one of the three reservoirs in the area. I like Blackton, the middle one because is had a glory hole (overspill outlet). It was very full and the water appeared to boil in the outlet. It also has a castlette building, I like taking photos here.
We shared a bottle of Prosecco and enjoyed a picky tea.
