Looks can be deceiving...

That bright blue sky wasn't with us for long today. In between short bursts of sunshine we've had some truly horrendous downpours of rain, driven by a fiercely cold wind.

I've blipped the oak tree outside the school next door in the past. I always think of it as the tree of learning or knowledge, so I was especially aggrieved when the tree vandals came and gave it a rather severe haircut recently. I know it will grow back but it has definitely lost some of its charm and grace as a result of this cutting back
