And again

Another waiting room.
Had an appointment for a second opinion at another orthopedic. Another x-ray and  - Surprise! This one revealed that I had not only fractured the fibula,  but also the shinbone. Still don't know when and where, only know hour and minute when the pain started 3 months ago. The orthopedic said he had not at all expected to see this on the x-ray after looking at the old report and listening to my story.

I'm still kind of speechless.  Wearing a tight bandage now, next x-ray in 8 weeks. The fibula doesn't seem to heal well (doesn't surprise me, how could it, I've been "dancing" around on it the entire time).
So, my gut feeling was confirmed. I really do hope things improve soon. The bandage feels good.
