Kingfisher

Two brief flashes of blue are the only previous sightings I've had of these beautiful birds at the Gosforth Park reserve. Today, this handsome male treated me to a glorious display as he flew around various posts near the main hide. Not only did he pose obligingly at every stop, but from one he timed his departure so perfectly, that I fluked this action blip!
