clouds and the cathedral

.. .yes not a spaceship , or alien communication station, but the roman catholic cathedral also known as paddys wigwam in these parts.

I remember the first ever time EVER I came to liverpool, I was running late for my vet school interview and was having a little panic on the phone to the vet school secretary Viv....
she said to me, 'look up and can you see a building that looks like its trying to communicate with aliens'

I thought maybe she was a little bit crackers but looked around and sure enough there it was.
'actually yes I can ' I told her

and that was how I found the building where I had my interview, and why I always think of Paddy's wigwam as also communicating with aliens, and the rest is history.


In other news ... have just got back from a hellish shift at ladbrokes ... but it is the LAST TIME I shall have to run that bookies , or any bookies in fact on a friday night !!! Yipppppeeeeeee
No more crazy people,
no more drunk people,
no more people putting 20p in all of the machines at 9.59pm
at least not on a friday!
Still it took my mind off everything else !
