Monday run, variable conditions

The Garstang Club run from Arnside started as the glowering clouds parted, and we thought we might be blessed with a bit of brightness for a time.  Then we got a bit delayed (the leader wasn't quite certain of the route) and ended by coming down from Arnside Knott on a very steep and slippery slope that no-one recognised (and a few have sworn never to do again).  Our promised short route became even shorter as we unanimously turned for the Bob Inn cafe where the coffee and late breakfasts were very welcome!
