A Morning Out

A trip to Ponteland today where we visited a garden centre and I bought a couple of presents for my friends daughter.  We then did a walk along a track followed by a walk in the park.  Good to see a bit blue sky.  The river was incredibly murky and grey.  We finished off with a trip to Waitrose.  Good to get out.

Watching the lunch time news, I couldn't help but be moved by the coverage from the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.  So sad but also incredible stories of courage and hope.
