Tractor

We had a lot of heavy equipment and strong young men here this morning.  The tree surgeons were due to spend the week taking down some dangerous ash trees and to prune trees that needed it.  However, they left late morning, having taken down 2 trees, in the middle of a blizzard of sleet and snow and strong winds, saying it was too dangerous.  I hope they come back later in the week!

I ventured out to do some shopping, weaving in the lanes around floods and fallen trees.
