Strong waves today

I was woken in the night by exceptionally heavy rain battering my window, then I heard thunder. Today the winds have been very strong with frequent squally showers. This is a view from the coastal path towards the signal box on the railway line at Penzance. I was there an hour before high tide and the waves were already throwing seaweed and pebbles onto the coast path.
