Putting things in perspective

I believe this completes my eleven years on Blipfoto,, although I have missed a few days along the way, mainly when I was having a sulk.

It's a terrific community, with a wide set of skills both vocationally and photographically, as well as a huge variety of journals, rather like going through a bookshop and choosing your favourites.

We've lost a few along the way, which somehow feels personal and leaves us sad.  New people come along and make us smile with memories of places we've visited or would like to.  People from all around the world with the same common interest but who bring different styles of images.

Thank you to those in the background who keep the site going and also to those who host the challenges and keep us on our toes.

I'll shut up now.

ps  I would like to apologise for reaching another milestone so soon after the last one.
