Off and on I would think of what I might post on 3 years, and here I am with the simple yet always elegant rose, three of course. It is raining after 31 days of absolute dry - so unusual in our wet city - I don't have my wet rainy photo mojo up I guess as here I am inside fiddling with roses.

And off and on I would think of what I might say:

1. I am on my 3rd camera, the first having taken a dive into the toilet, the second is fine but it taught me that I really wanted control, so the 3rd is the Nikon D600 - she has lots to teach me.

2. It is fun and it is a focus for a day, or at least one focus, and some days I need that badly.

3. Comments to one another have opened up a wide world of invisible friends who feel present and dependable in an odd and warm way.

4. Still don't have one genre that is mine - but that is true in my life overall, really kind of a generalist and finally have accepted and even kind of quite appreciated that. "Kind of quite" is definitely hedging a bit I know.

5. I imagine a huge conference with blip people coming together and meeting one another - what a revelation! We are a type of family and I was one of the skeptical ones when it came to social media, but now, well looking at the site is one of the very first things I do in the morning!

6. And this - I simply know that for three years this practice of noticing and experimenting has given meaning to my day. The feedback means a lot, and the feeling of closeness although odd when I cannot see or touch you all, is very real, very much felt. I am deeply appreciative of the attention and attending that has come my way. Best to each and everyone of you! And onwards.

Which brings me to a quote that came my way today. TS Eliot in Wasteland while quoting Krishna wrote "Not fare well, but fare forward voyagers." Somehow that seems fitting for this day. Fare forward all thee blippers, fare forward!
