King Parrots

We’ve had a family of King Parrots in the area for the last few weeks. In this case, the juvenile (green head) spent the morning begging for food from its Dad (red head). I could almost see the impatience from the Dad, he was being followed around the garden.

A public holiday for Australia Day today has passed pleasantly at home. Washing, cleaning, journaling and resting, exactly how it should be. I chatted with Mom as well, until she had to rush off for an appointment while I was thinking of getting dinner ready. Different time zones can complicate matters. Back to the real world tomorrow.
