Church as Community

Today was all about church.   As a choir member, we arrive early to run through the music.  A bonus is watching the others arrive, Linda to prepare coffee, Ian to test the computer / power point program, Matt to make sure the mics are all working.  Among all there is a feeling of warmth as they greet, laugh, share concerns and prepare for worship.  Church is community.
This afternoon was another church and all about music.  St. Andrews United was the venue for a fundraising concert - all goes as planned, as well as being a church,  it will become a hub for the Arts.  Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Chopin and Vivaldi;  90 minutes of peace and joy.
