       What a bloody week . . . distracting my self with silly games, and slowly reading The History of the English Church and People  by the Venerable Bede and for light entertainment rereading Three Men in a Boat (not to mention the dog)  the 1982 edition annotated and introduced by Christopher Matthew and Benny Green published as Pavilion book by Michael Joseph.
