His Turn
Eye tests booked for children#1-3.
Child#4 was devastated to be left out, so the optician volunteered to rattle through the others so he could have his 'turn,' although I am not convinced he had any idea whatsoever what he was doing but he did it well nonetheless.
Then onto haircuts, and a similar problem. Child#4 also wanted a go. Considering he had a grade 4 all over at the weekend, I was insistent he didn't need a go. He was insistent that he did have enough hair to cut. Very insistent. In the end through his sobs I could just make out the word 'lollipop.' We compromised on having a lollipop from the hairdresser but not a haircut.
