Sign of spring

In amongst the Rosa rugosa and the elder bushes, there are clumps of snowdrops. Most are still in bud, some are being a wee bit braver!
Lottie is obviously not very comfortable but she has some painkillers and this afternoon I left her snuggled up on Mike's knee while I went out. 
It was a get together for the Festival Chorus before we start rehearsals in February. We did some singing, got to know our new choir master and had a very nice coffee and cake catch up with everyone. Some new members there, but still a few from 40 years ago!  The rehearsals are for our annual concert as part of the St Magnus International Festival in June. Good to see old friends again.
