I was given a weekend pottery workshop for Christmas and had my first go  at throwing on the wheel this afternoon. It was far more fun than I thought it would be but maybe I just like messy play!  At this point in the proceedings we had a brief power cut so I stopped to take a photo. The lump on the wheel eventually made the little vase in the extra. Tomorrow we attempt to tidy up our pieces.
