Beloved

At funerals in Sweden in most cases, the farewell takes place at the coffin inside the church or chapel. After the ceremony, the flowers are carried out and often placed outside as a symbol that a funeral has just taken place. After a few days, they are cleaned away by the cemetery staff.

These were not from a funeral we had been to, so we were not grief-stricken, just curious to see the flowers. We passed by the church on our walk.

From the amount of beautiful red roses, one can assume that it was a very beloved person who had passed away.
