Haar Sauna Sammy

A fine enough morning first thing, then the winds picked up again, bringing showers.  A drier afternoon and evening.  Cold all day. 

Up at 5am again, another 6am start on the Lerwick street beat cleaning.  Walkies with Sammy after work.  Picked up friend Julie after lunch, when headed to the beach for walkies, then along Shannon and family for a cuppa.  Working in the shop this evening.  It'll be a brief feet up before bed. 

As Sammy approaches the grand age of 17 (in May), today was a bad choice taking him to the beach.  Even with his coat on, he was feeling the cold and had a miserable time.  The beach used to be a favourite for him, I'll maybe leave it until the spring/summer weather arrives.  A quick pit stop for a photo, and would have been lovely to step inside the beach sauna to warm Sammy up.  Sammy at the Haar Sauna, St Ninian's, Bigton.
