Gannet -10
We went over to Bempton this morning before the heavy rain and strong winds started in earnest. Fortunately we escaped the rain but we still had to contend with a very cold, blustery wind so didn’t hang around as much as we would have liked. I posted a shot of a gannet although they weren’t as close to the cliffs as usual. I’ve also added extras of a fulmar landing (bird 11) and a tree sparrow (bird 12).
Best sighting of the day was a woodcock. I just managed to get a photo of it in the undergrowth. We would never have spotted it if it hadn’t been for a volunteer who pointed it out.
