Nodrops

We find ourselves, unexpectedly, in Monmouth.

We'd set off for a snowdrop fix at the Wye Valley Sculpture Park but shortly after the turn off at Monmouth we hit a diversion, with signs saying road closed two miles ahead.  We followed what diversion signs there were for quite a long way, and got back to the main road - where there were signs saying road closed a half mile ahead.

Concluding this was a rather poor joke we headed back to Monmouth, somewhere we'd never stopped at, for a wander around the town and alongside multiple rivers.

Whist not what we'd set out to do, it was quite a pleasant afternoon.

In the rush to depart I'd left the main camera in the hall so this turned out to be an opportunity to play with the new phone's camera.  It's not bad at all, and adds a wide lens to what the last phone camera had.
