A goldfinch regards a teasel
I like to have teasel plants in the garden. They're interesting in themselves but I really grow them for the goldfinches so that they have something to eat in the winter. I almost managed to capture this one on the seedhead itself but of course as soon as I moved the camera off it flew.
Another sunny and still morning. There's plenty of clearing up taking place. Cameraman managed to move and cut up the tree which came down in the garden but the fence has to wait for a professional. That's going to be at least another week.
I took Flora out but the pavements are very icy. I think the true gritters need to get round the neighborhood but I'm not volunteering today. Definitely much better but a bit wabbit. Another quiet day will do the trick I'm sure.
