Green Veined White

The garden was full of small whites, green veined whites and even several small tortoiseshell butterflies.

In between the showers I got a lot of blips , all hand held . There were so many I even had time to change lenses andtried the big 150 - 500, 70 - 300 and finally the 60mm macro lens which I usually only use on a tripod. I was pleasantly surprised to get sharp images all hand held. This close up of the green veined on a dandelion head was my eventual choice for tonight. Large might be worth a look.

Tomorrow it's back to the football season, hope to get some decent action blips tomorrow.
