Grandes Rocques

A walk along the sand from Cobo to Grande Rocque in glorious hot sun and, as we sat enjoying the beach view with a cold drink, we were unexpectedly joined by my eldest nephew who was at the beach with his fiancee and toddler daughter. Lovely!

Plus we were able to tie up my son's visit this weekend with his girlfriend as they are staying with Mark and Annie in St Peter Port. Alex and Amy move to Dublin in a few weeks and this is really a trip to see my elderly parents (his grandparents) whilst its easier (and cheaper) and extra special as its their Diamond anniversary on Tuesday. Its a surprise visit so mum and dad will be thrilled to see Son and meet Girlfriend.
